Top Secret V12 Supra is Real

Not only this baby is real it's fast and furious, too. “Smoky” Nagata the guy that has been making “Top Secret” tuned vehicles for over a decade has working on a Top Secret V12 Supra and tested it at the Nardo Ring in Italy. Sources say that the Supra project Smoky is working on, should be the supercar Toyota should sell. Take that Toyota!!

On the track and with Nagat behind the wheel the Top Secret V12 Supra that has been sourced from a Toyota Century managed to fly at 222mph (358 km/h) thanks to those 1,000+ hp, lots of air flow aids which includes dual HKS GT2540 turbochargers.

The new Mercedes Benz A Class

Reading a recent press release I've just found out that there is a new younger, more attractive and more environmentally friendly Mercedes Benz A Class that will hit the markets soon. We'll get to see it first during the Auto Mobil International (AMI) Show in Leipzig, Germany.

With a new bumper that includes larger air intake and a redesigned radiator grille, new headlights, new tail lights and large exterior mirror the new Mercedes Benz A Class looks great on the exterior. From under the hood, reports say that it has a fuel consmuption from 4.9 to 8.1 liters / 100 km thanks to the sophisticated direct-injection diesel engine.

Jaguar and Land Rover to be bought by Tata

Jaguar and Land Rover are to be sold to Indian car giant Tata, it has been
reported.

US giant Ford is set to announce that Tata Motors will take over Land Rover and
Jaguar, which has a plant at Halewood, in a deal worth around £1 billion

Aston Martin Vantage GT2 Revealed

I never thought I'm going to say it but I hate Aston Martin. Why I hate them? Because they've just released some teasing (but official) pictures of the new Vantage GT2 and man that's a pretty design I'm looking at. I don't know for sure if the orange will stay, but it sure looks pretty. Rumors say that it's going to run on standard fuel and E85 bio-ethanol hanks to the successful conversion of the DBRS9. As soon as we have more info you'll get it.

BMW dealership in Nebraska not honoring eBay auction

This is really frustrating. Everything started when a BMW dealership in Nebraska put up an auction eBay for a Jerez Black M3 sedan with a Fox Red interior starting from $60,000. I'll have to agree with them that it was really “LOWEST PRICE ON EBAY” (as they said on the auction site) and a gentleman from California made his bid for $60k.

So what happened? The BMW dealership failed to send him the car and when our guy called them they explained “it was a mistake” and said he won't get the car. From what I know submitting an auction to eBay it's like a small contract between the seller and the buyer. I'm very infuriated for the guy …

Ford sold Jaguar and Land Rover for $2 billion

No more rumors and speculations about Ford selling Jaguar and Land Rover because the deal finally went through. The Indian company, Tata Motors, will buy the two British brands for the announced price of $2 billion. According to AutoUnleashed, a big portion of the two billion will be used by Ford to pay for Jaguar and Land Rover’s pension fund. Rumors say they'll pay some $600 million.

It's going to be very curious what will happen now. What marketing and production strategies will the Indian company follow, because we all know that both brands have built over many years and we wouldn't want that to go down the drain.

No official comments from Ford but in the next 24 hours the press release should pop out.

Bentley S3 E design concept

They say this is what happens when you want a car with the looks and chassis of a Bentley S3 with the 300-horsepower BMW 4.4L V8 engine. I say it's what you get when you are a big fan of Batman. With 20-inch wheels, a custom dual exhaust and a deluxe interior this design concept already won our heart. Rumors say that if they're going to build on the Bentley S3 E design concept, the price is probably in the $150,000 range.

Saleen S55 Raptor Concept

With all the rumors on the market about Saleen working on a new supercar project that will be unveiled soon, here comes the official announcement. Yes, the new Saleen S55 Raptor Concept has been unveiled at the New York Auto Show in Manhattan. It comes with a 5.0L supercharged engine that outputs 650-hp and 630 lb-ft of torque, will cost $185,000 and will roll out from 2010.

If that's not enough specs, here's some more: rear-wheels drive with a six speed manual transmission, capable of running on ethanol (E85), goes to 60mph in 3.2 seconds and tops at more than 200mph. The new S55 Raptor is built with the help of the design group ASC and has a rigid aluminum chassis.
